Questions about Clarissi
Everything you need to know about the Assessment, platform, outcomes, and billing.
What is the Assessment and what does it cost?
The Assessment is a paid diagnostic — not a sales call. Your embedded engineer runs a structured analysis of your environment over 1–2 weeks and delivers a four-section report covering your automation exposure, what is ready to activate, custom automation candidates, and recommended path forward. It costs $2,500. If you convert to a Concierge engagement within 30 days, the Assessment fee is credited toward your first month's retainer, up to the full Assessment fee.
What do I need to provide for the Assessment?
Information about your current environment — which systems you use, how they're connected, and roughly what moves through them. Plus about one hour of your team's time for the kickoff call and the report readout.
What's in the Assessment report?
Four sections: (1) Current Automation Exposure — what your systems are handling today and what's falling through. (2) Ready to Activate — automation that works against your stack now, with expected impact for each. (3) Custom Automation Candidates — workflows specific to your business, prioritized by effort and value. (4) Recommended Path Forward — which automations to activate first and the sequencing that gets you to value fastest.
How long does the Assessment take?
Typically 1–2 weeks from kickoff call to final report. Stack complexity and credential access time are the main variables.
What is a Clarissi embedded engineer?
A dedicated Clarissi specialist who builds and runs custom AI against your business rules. They model your operations as a semantic model, configure outcomes against it, monitor execution, tune as your business evolves, and deliver monthly outcome reports.
What happens if my embedded engineer leaves?
Knowledge doesn't leave with them. Your configuration, execution history, and business logic context are all stored in the platform. Clarissi assigns a replacement engineer who inherits full context. There's no re-onboarding from scratch.
What do the Concierge tiers include?
Three tiers: Starter ($750/mo, 1 outcome/month), Standard ($1,500/mo, up to 3 outcomes/month), and Growth ($5,000/mo, up to 10 outcomes/month). All tiers include an outcome fee scoped to your operations and agreed during the Assessment. Your Assessment report will include a tier recommendation.
Can I change tiers later?
Yes. Tier changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Your embedded engineer manages the transition, including any outcome activations or configuration changes the new tier unlocks.
What does 'custom AI' mean — is this code or configuration?
Your automation is built around your specific business rules, not a generic template you force-fit. When your operations change, your embedded engineer updates the configuration — no development cycle, no waiting on an engineer. You stay in control of the logic without owning the infrastructure.
What verticals do you support?
E-commerce is live today, with a full catalog of outcomes covering order management, support, fulfillment, and tracking workflows. Healthcare Operations is our planned Vertical 2. Professional Services and B2B SaaS are in research — join the waitlist to be considered for early access.
What systems do you connect to?
For e-commerce — the live vertical — the catalog connects to Shopify, Gorgias, Zendesk, Re:amaze, Klaviyo, AfterShip, QuickBooks, Slack, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Search Console, with new integrations added as engagements need them. If your system isn't listed, mention it in your Assessment request — the platform is built to connect new systems quickly, and the Assessment scopes exactly what's connectable in your stack.
How is Clarissi different from other AI platforms?
Most AI platforms hand you a toolbox. Clarissi is embedded engineering for AI-native operations — we model your business as a semantic model, build custom AI workflows against your specific rules using generative AI tools (Claude, Codex), and an embedded engineer runs them for you. You don't get a platform to figure out. You get outcomes.
What does 'operated at scale' mean?
Running AI in production isn't just deploying automation — it's credential management, integration changes, threshold tuning, edge case handling, and monthly proof that it worked. Most teams don't have headroom to own that operational load, so automation never fully deploys. Your Clarissi embedded engineer takes that load. Your platform runs. Your team gets the outcomes.
Is there a self-serve option?
Not currently. Clarissi is embedded engineering for AI-native operations — every engagement starts with a paid Assessment and is run by a dedicated embedded engineer. This is intentional: the value we deliver is in modeling your operations and running custom AI against them, not in giving you another platform to figure out.
How do you keep AI costs under control?
Cost is built into the architecture, not bolted on. Most of what we run executes deterministically with no language-model call at all, so the runaway per-run AI cost doesn't apply to it. Where data is involved, we pre-compute the answers instead of re-reading raw records on every run, and dashboards are authored once rather than regenerated every time you look. We also record the cost of every call — so your spend stays predictable as usage grows, and every outcome report shows what each result cost and what it was worth.
Can I see and audit what the AI did?
Yes — completely. Every action writes a record the moment it happens: what triggered it, what was evaluated, what ran, and the result. When you need to show exactly what your AI did and why, the answer already exists. And you control what the AI is allowed to do in the first place — nothing acts on your business that you can't inspect or constrain.
Do you work with systems beyond Shopify?
Yes. Clarissi is channel-agnostic — Shopify is one of many systems we connect to, not the product. We integrate by category (order management, support, fulfillment, messaging, billing, and more), and the right set depends on your stack. E-commerce is the live vertical today, with healthcare, professional services, and B2B SaaS on the way. Whatever your operations run on, the Assessment scopes exactly what's connectable.
How does outcome-based pricing work?
The outcome fee is scoped to your operations and agreed during the Assessment — not a fixed formula applied to every customer. Each month, your embedded engineer calculates verified results above the agreed baseline and includes a full breakdown in your outcome report. Our incentives are aligned: your embedded engineer succeeds only when your business produces measurable results.
How is billing handled?
Invoice-based. Base retainer is billed at the start of each month. Outcome fee is calculated and invoiced at month-end with a full breakdown of verified deflections. No seats, no per-operation charges, no surprise overages.
Is the Assessment fee refundable?
The Assessment fee is non-refundable — but if you convert to a Concierge engagement within 30 days of receiving your report, it's fully credited toward your first month's retainer, up to the full Assessment fee.
